Pinecroft Bed & Breakfast New Forest.

Only the garden gate separates this charming Victorian cottage from the open forest. Hidden away midway between Lymington and Brockenhurst, close to Setley Pond. Within walking distance of several pubs. We provide torches for your journey home. Our ground floor family room, with its own entrance has a double, single and sofa bed, shower room and outside seating area with the evening sun.

Children, dogs and horses are welcome. We have bikes available to hire, there is lockable bike storage and stables. Great for walking and cycling or a base for exploring the many attractions the surrounding area has to offer.
Children can even collect their own eggs for breakfast!

Nearby Attractions

Walk for miles amongst the New Forest Ponies taking in the abundant wildlife.

Cycle across the New Forest on the many off road tracks, or for the road cyclist pedal along miles of quiet lanes through the beautiful countryside .

Lymington

On the coast only a couple of miles away is the lovely Georgian town of Lymington with its bustling Saturday market its harbour and marinas. The Lymington and Keyhaven marshes are a must for bird watchers with views across to the Isle of Wight and the Needles (easily accessible by ferry from Lymington).

Beaulieu

Beaulieu is only a few miles away with its fabulous abbey and motor museum at the head of the picturesque Beaulieu River with Bucklers Hard a little further down stream, and only on the other side of the river are the famous Exbury Gardens.

Nearby Cities

The larger towns of Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Salisbury and Winchester are all not much more than half an hour away. Portsmouth is a little further but the Victory and Mary Rose exhibitions are excellent.

Brockenhurst railway station is only 2 miles away for those wishing to arrive by train. Therefore only a short cycle if bringing bikes. (Bikes are available to hire through Cycle Experience at the Station)
If arriving on foot a walk across the forest will take about 45 minutes.

We will endeavour to pick people up by prior arrangement but cannot always promise this.

There are also taxis and buses. Remember that if you are arriving without transport there are no shops nearby, only pubs within varying walking distances. Although the nearest bus stop is only a ten minute walk away.

Booking

We charge £50 per person per night. Children are half price. Dogs are £10 per night and we do ask not to allow dogs up on the beds and furniture. Also to keep them on a lead in the garden. The open forest is only through the garden gate.

We generally don’t take one night bookings at weekends or peak times, but it is often worth enquiring. The same applies to single occupancy.

We are unable to accept credit or debit cards for payment but do ask for a credit card number on booking for security reasons.
